Our duct cleaning process
- Protect the home. We remove the register covers and cover floors and walls around each opening.
- Loosen the buildup. A rotating brush works through the supply and return ducts to break debris off the duct walls.
- Extract it. High-power suction pulls the loosened dust and debris out of the system instead of pushing it around.
- Clean the registers. Covers and grilles are cleaned before they go back on.
- Antimicrobial treatment. Once the ducts are clean, we fog them with an EPA-registered antimicrobial mist that leaves a fresh scent.

How your ductwork is laid out
Understanding the system helps you see why a proper cleaning takes a few hours. A forced-air system has two sides. Supply ducts carry heated or cooled air from the furnace to the registers in each room. Return ducts pull air back from the house to the furnace through larger grilles, usually in hallways and on interior walls. Returns collect the most dust, because they pull in whatever is floating in the room. Both sides connect to the main trunk lines in the basement, and everything passes through the furnace blower. A complete cleaning covers all four.
